With the support of HDFC Bank’s Parivartan CSR initiative, Hope Foundation has been implementing a comprehensive skill development program across Ernakulam, Trivandrum, and Kottayam in Kerala. This initiative aims to empower youth from economically and socially disadvantaged backgrounds by providing free, industry-aligned training in four key trades: Retail Management, Tourism & Hospitality, Nursing Assistant, and Tally.
Between January 2024 and March 2025, the program trained 2,660 candidates, achieving a placement rate of over 65%. Graduates have been placed in reputed organizations including Aster Medcity, Caremark India, Rajagiri Hospital, as well as major hotel groups such as Novotel, Holiday Inn, and Crowne Plaza. Many candidates have also secured roles in private banks like Muthoot Fincorp and Gokulam, and in leading retail chains such as Reliance, Westside, MYG, and other pan-Indian brands. Additionally, several beneficiaries have accessed international employment opportunities in countries such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Israel, Dubai etc.
By equipping youth with essential technical and soft skills, this initiative has created sustainable pathways to employment, enhanced economic independence, and positively impacted the lives of individuals and their families across Kerala.
We are working inclusively for the holistic development of children, youth and vulnerable individuals.
Our ‘Cradle to Career’ approach focuses on transforming lives where we walk alongside an individual on the entire journey – through childhood education and care towards skill training and livelihood as an adult.
