‘The Village of HOPE’, In New Delhi is where HOPE foundation built over 700 homes for leprosy patients and their families, on 9 acres of land made available by the government. Bhim Bahadur was one of the early recipients. On the day the homes were to be handed over, the newly painted blue exterior of his house, stood out among all the brick red houses. Bhim and his wife Babli, were determined to educate their children. 2 of his daughters are nurses, a son works for Amazon, one is with the Delhi Metro, while another is doing her graduation.
